Ok, first off, have you registered your product and actually downloaded the driver from the website? The legacy driver is not a great one and the newest is better, the caveat is that the newest version of OS Mac has a few issues so there there is a beta driver...
Please inform us what computer platform you are on and what software you are using so we might better help you...

yes. ive got the same problem. im working on a 64 bit windows pc, and when ever i try to install the driver it prompts me to connect the audiobox usb. basically, its this message:
Setup requires that the AudioBox device is plugged in. Please connect the device you want to install and make sure it is turned on. If your device is currently connected, unplug and replug it. Wait for any system device installers to complete.
Click "Install Driver" to begin driver installation. This may take some time.
and when i do plug it in, the windows notification at the bottom right corner says the usb device could not be recognizes or something. and when i do click on the install driver, it says:
No device has been found.
Plug in your AudioBox device. If a device is already plugged in, unplug and replug it. Wait for any system device installers to complete. Then try installing driver again.
I get same message too...

"No device has been found.

I got that:
"No device has been found.
Plug in your AudioBox device. If a device is already plugged in, unplug and replug it. Wait for any system device installers to complete. Then try installing driver again."
So I uninstalled and reinstalled and thank goodness, I got it!
After I tried it with Guitar Rig 5 and the Audiobox USB had status stopped on guitar rig screen. It simply didn't work. I tried with Reaper and the asio configuration didn't open and freeze the program. I tried open The Audiobox Control Panel to change some buffering configs but it never opened. So, I uninstalled it again.
When I reinstalled I got the messages:
"No device has been found.
Plug in your AudioBox device. If a device is already plugged in, unplug and replug it. Wait for any system device installers to complete. Then try installing driver again."
I removed registry, folders, %appdata%, prefetch.. and tried again.
and...
"No device has been found.
Plug in your AudioBox device. If a device is already plugged in, unplug and replug it. Wait for any system device installers to complete. Then try installing driver again."
Windows 7 ultimate x64, Windows 8 Pro x32 and x64, and Windows 8.1 x64. In these all 4 windows the installer is not working.
Do I need windows update or somthing?
Ok everyone I'm going to post my "AB USB" document that covers a lot of potential problems:
Potential issues with AB USB
Hardware:
1. Bad/intermittent USB cable, also sometimes a shorter USB cable in the 1-2 foot length can solve issues(sometimes even shorter…. For some reasons I can’t even begin to get into here)…
2. Bad USB port… this can be a power issue (not all USB ports are equal!) and sometimes a powered USB hub is the best solution (and the ONLY one). USB port issues are NOT always power related. Some ports have other devices or ports that can conflict, through IRQ’s, and shared ports. Here you can run interrupt request reports and see if there are conflicts with the port you’re on.
3. The Audio Box USB is a PORT SPECIFIC device. This means it MUST be used on the same port it was installed on! If you wish to try a different port, you will need to go to the Knowledge base http://support.presonus.com/forums find your computer and OS and follow the uninstall protocols in the KB article. Then reinstall the device.
4. Some computers (PC) only have USB 3.0 ports ( not supported ) and in the Bios you can disable the USB3.0 portion of the ports, this is generally global, so you'll loose any 3.0 capabilities on all ports.
Software/drivers
1. Using the disc that comes with the USB is a BAD idea…unless you have no other options. There’s no telling if it’s current or not. Go to the DOWNLOADS section ( the above link ) and get the latest driver for your computer/OS. Always make sure your computer and software are up to date if your having any kind of issue, and of course, to avoid problems when it’s all working well…don’t change ANYTHING. (see below)
2. When working with a new install many things can cause issues. It is generally accepted that if your system is running without problems TURN AUTO UPDATE off… For first time or new installs you can save yourself a LOT of headaches by making sure your computer is up to date, and that you are running the latest driver on this sight for your device and computer platform/OS…(yes I repeated that because it’s often overlooked)
3. Generally a computer used for digital audio recording should be used and set up for that purpose, because you will probably need to disable many of the safeguards in place for web browsing, power savers and the like… basically anything that slows down the computer should be suspect. There are great articles dealing with this here as well:
4. http://support.presonus.com/forums
5. http://support.presonus.com/categories/20072360-Digital-Recording-Getting-Started
6. Speaking of this, optimizing your computer is a must! There are platform specific optimization articles in the knowledge base (above). Make sure to do these but realize that when you’re done the computer is completely vulnerable to outside intervention and spyware/malware and viruses…so beware!

Make sure that you are also using a USB 2.0 port and not a 3.0 port when installing the driver as well. 3.0 ports are marked with an SS or colored blue or red, if the installation is giving you an error try another port to install on and see if that helps.
You will want to right click on the installer and run it as administrator, also install the driver with the firewall and virus protection disabled.
If you continue getting errors, try a different cable as well or test it on another computer to see if it will install on another computer.
Also the AudioBox USB will now serve as you computers sound card to listen to all sound being generated from the computer, being it the StudioOne software or other sound like iTunes or YouTube. Your on board drivers can always be enabled again by reversing the instructions entitled On Board Sound below. Run the installer and select install. Click Next, it will tell you to restart you computer, restart. it may also uninstall the driver for you if it locates an older version, if the install fails run it again and select uninstall before running the installer, go back and disable your Firewall and/or Virus protection, right click and run as administrator. for more details DVD Duplication Services
Hey. im having the same problem. first off I couldn't use the AudioBoxUSB due to not updating the driver. which I found on this site. but I could use the Studio One software, I could put a wav. track in there, try to record over it and nothing would happen due to not updating.. Now, I have updated the AudioBox Usb driver, but it wont let me into the Studio One software? some one please help if you have had the same problem, as I cant work out why its doing this, letting me use one thing and not the other, and not both at the same time
