I've seen these exact videos. Fairly helpful but I wasn't very impressed by the fact he didn't mention anything about phase with multiple mics. He's a producer and he just played it off as 'makes them sound the best'. I feel like most people would appreciate the explanation but overall he did a good job with demonstrating the mics. I have a 57 and hopefully sometime I can pickup a 421... would be an awesome combo!

Agree about lack of discussion about phase issues. Also IMHO that placement is ridiculous. I use that same combo but I would NEVER just jam them both right up to the center of the cone.
