Does disable QuickTime in settings completely disable video-code?

question might be a bit technical, but if i select 'Disable' for QuickTime support in settings, does it completely disable the video code, as if its not there? meaning, if i disable it, will it be like PreSonus never added video at all to S1, or will it still impact the code base?

I would have thought disabling it would not impact S1 in any negative way but only disable support for that feature. Perhaps Jonathan or other PreSonus staff can comment if my notion is baloney.

Really it should be a harmless process as far as S1 is concerned. I have not tried disabling the service myself so maybe getting clarification from PreSonus to be 100% sure is best.

I would also doubt it would increase or decrease how S1 performs in general.
