What is the primary USB version installed on "most" new computers? Is it to much to ask for an update or confirmation of any progress as to "their looking into it" statement.

$1200?? All I had to spend was $100 for a used dual core pc and I've been using my 1818 happily ever since.

I have set the 1818 up for only studio recording. The new gear will be for live mobile stuff with more to be added soon. As frustrating as it can be I still like my 1818.
