What is the primary USB version installed on "most" new computers? Is it to much to ask for an update or confirmation of any progress as to "their looking into it" statement.

I have set the 1818 up for only studio recording. The new gear will be for live mobile stuff with more to be added soon. As frustrating as it can be I still like my 1818.
Great another month goes by and no update, thanks to Presonus for helping me to make my new buying decisions easier the X product has been shipped .....

I corresponded with them to see if they were working on a driver-based solution, but they basically said "probably not" and referred me back to Presonus.
