hey guys, i have downloaded mountain lion 10.8.1 before i bought my 44VSL and im not sure if i can use this driver with it, doesn't seem like i can, would anybody be able to tell me if this driver supports the 10.8.1 update aswell, thank you

I've tried changing the buffer size with no luck. Even the "Safe" setting has distortion.
I should clarify that the distortion I'm hearing sounds more like downsampling or clock sync issues than pops and clicks. I'm not clipping the input either. Also the problem takes a while to present itself and gets progressively worse especially durring playback through the system.
Intersting, That sounds like the problem I was having with my Mbox 2 mini, It wasnt until I switched to my 22VSL that it all stopped. Before you installed the beta drive was a previous driver already installed? When I installed mines It was the only installation.
Hi everyone....I have a Audiobox USB and I connected the device to my usb on my mac and its not being seen by Studio one if I go to all about this mac, more info, then system report and under USB i see the device but its not showing in studio one.....so I tried to install this software but I get a installation failed......i'm running 10.8.1...if anyone can help me that would be great

Can you test recording an audiofile in your DAW with 128 samples and run the VSL driver in the background and tell me if you notice any clicks or pops from the DAW monitor return? I'm on vacation a couple of days more so I can't test it out my self yet.
Best,
J
With 128 samples and running the VSL in the back, there are many of clicks on my recording. I don´t know where the problem is. Don´t think it is a problem with my iMac (Intel Core i5, 2.5 GHz), so it will be a problem with this Beta Driver?
I HAVE A 2012 MACBOOK AIR. I USE STUDIO ONE 2 AND CANT RECORD USING MY AUDIOBOX USB. THE RECORD BUTTON WONT WORK ON STUDIO 1. ITS GREY AND ONLY LETS ME CLICK ON MUTE SOLO ETC. EVERYTHING WORKS BUT WONT RECORD. IVE TRIED DOWNLOADING THE BETA DRIVER BUT IT DOESNT DO ANYTHING. IDK IF IM DOING IT WRONG. BUT I NEED HELP, SO I CAN GET MY MAC AIR RUNNING

No I'm not a freaking pilot!! The Air Force won't let me have a suit with a zipper...or sometimes shoestrings.
My advice and suggestions should never be considered advice or suggestions. These are mostly insane ramblings of a poor aircraft mechanic who can, strangely enough, still hear.

Strange thing is - I don't hear clicks while monitoring live but only when recording is played back. Buffer settings are anywhere from 64 to 2048 samples. I have current mac mini and ML. 1818 vsl as a master via word clock to Digimax D8... It looks like bunch of people having clicks on previous OS X too. Too bad probably sending 1818 back to the store...
I had crackling on 2 different Windows machines and on my new Mac as well. Nothing seems to work, this is just really crappy hardware. Presonus should be ashamed of themselves, issue a recall, and formally apologize to all us musicians who spent their hard-earned money. But of course they won't do any of that because they don't care, they just want to make money.
