AudioBox USB not working on mac lion 10.8 mountan

I have recently updated my iMac to OS 10.8.2 and ever since then the Presonus AudioBox 44VSL does not work.
It's not just Logic Pro, but the computer itself doesn't even seem to find the interface.
The AudioBox-Software panel doesn't even show up, even though I updated to the Public Beta ....

ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE??

Is the computer recognizing its existence? Have you set it to be the primary audio device?

No the computer doesn't even recognize the audio box at all, so I can't set it to be the primary audio device.

I have to add that it all used to kind of work until my latest update to OS 10.8.2, which I only did because I hoped to get rid of all the click noises in my recordings.
Like I said, not even the software-monitoring is visible anymore.

So far, it's the 4th day I am not able to record at home.

Have you gone through the knowledgebase and done a complete removal of the drivers?

See if there's just something jamming it up in there somewhere.

No, I haven't. How do I remove the drivers completely and where do I find the knowledgebase?? Thanks.

I got no response elsewhere, so I will repost here.

Running MAC OS X 10.8 2 I seem to need new drivers, I have audio in a sound editor (Audacity), Studio One 2 however, does not se my AudioBox USB.

When looking at I/O Studio One 2 says
Input L - None
Input R - None.

It does not see my AudioBox.
It's listed in MAC Audio Configuration, works as audio input in other Audio Apps, and is listed as standard audio device.

I have installed and reinstalled these drivers: AudioBox_121_5296_Beta_1.dmg

I think it stopped working after one of the latest updates from Apple.

I hope there is help underway. I upgraded Studio One 2 Artist to Studio One 2 Professional and I'd like to use it.
I have even bought 2 books. "Teach Yourself Studio One, version 2.0" and "Powertools for Studio One 2"

This must be something with USB3 on MacBookPro Retina running OSX 10.8.2
Maybe they did something with the USB3 port during the update.

But as I wrote, the AudioBox USB is working fine in other App's like Garageband.
It just does not show up as an input device in Studio One 2.

Please help or send this to the tech guys to solve.
I have tried all from the postings above, nothing works.
This is very frustrating.

I will pass this to the developers and see if they have any insight.

It may be possible that this is a problem in Studio One. If everything else is working as it should then I would look in this direction first.

You are not wrong it seems Audiobox USB does not operate with 10.8 imac versions - even though the docs specify it does. I cannot get my audiobox USB recognized by my computer - the computer is a brand new 27' imac Lion OS 10.8 Audiobox is new with Pre-sonus monitors - frustrating I have been at this for two straight days and nothing works. Please respond...... I could really use the help here.

I am not even using studio one - While the Audiobox USB works with the speakers - the device is not recognized by the imac (I can plug a guitar into the Abox USB and sound comes thru -

I have tried installing and re-installing drivers, the applications are not recognized by the iMac - is it that the audiobox will not work at all with a USB 3 port?

A number of people are having issues with Audiobox series and USB3.

If you have problems, your best bet is to use the Core Audio driver that are already in your iMac.

So what you are saying is that I should delete the Audiobox drivers and use the standard Mac drivers with Audiobox?
How would i get the imac to recognize the Audiobox USB - this would work please advise as to how.
