I just uploaded 20 macros, which can make different chords.
How does it work? It is super-easy! Insert just the first (main) note of the chord. Select the note, and choose Action > Chords, from the Macros menu, and choose the chord, you want to create. There are 20 different types of chords, prepared for you. It doesn’t matter, which scale do you use! Chords Macros needs just the main note.
You can find all these chords makers in the PreSonus Exchange area, in the Macros part. All these macros are named by X-..., which means the chord.
If you want to use 100 different chords in total, you can. Follow this link, please.

The Rest: Guitars, Amps, Stompboxes, Mics, Outboard Gear, VST plugins...too much to list!
They would be good if when creating your chord structure you could choose a different chord for each note, as it is just now it selects the chord for all notes?
any fix to this?

You can select one note, and create major chord. Then, you can select another one note, and create minor chord. Make chord one by one, please.

Martin, thnx for the macro but I'm having troubles making it assign the chord action to simply the root note that I highlight. Seems it wants to throw in chords for other root notes following that root note.
In other words, if measure one is a C and measure 2 is a B and measure 3 is an A then if I try to make the C a major chord, it might also slap the major chord onto the B even though the B isnt highlighted.
I've tried making sure the timemarker is at the start of the highlighted note but that doesn't seem to influence the placement of the major chord.
Do you have a video demo that might help me?
Thnx..

Hi Macwriter, could you send me screenshot before apply the macro, and after it, please? Or try to use QuickTime screenrecording, and record whole process, please.
I tested it again, and it wors, as expected, even if you use overlap of notes. Even if you have more notes in the track, etc.
Thanks!

I discovered that if I actually split each group of midi notes into a separate region and then simply highlight the region (i.e. click on the region) it would then simply apply the macro action to only the notes in that region, thus giving me the control I wanted.
Previously, I was just highlighting the midi note I wanted to apply the macro to, but failed to realize that the macro was simply adding the same action to the subsequent midi notes in that highlighted region.
So key is to split up the regions. Unless there's a simpler way I"m missing. But that's pretty simple. : )

That's really strange. What version of Studio One do you have, please? I tested it on Studio One 2.5 and 2.6. If you open the Editor, select One MIDI Note in the editor, and Apply the Macro, it should works for this One Note only, even if there are other MIDI Notes in the MIDI region.

Well interesting. I'm running 2.5 pro version on a Mac (full software/hardware description in my user profile)
But yeah, for me I have to split the regions.
