Hello guys, I'm a guitarist and when I record I usually create a jamming track and then record solos on top of it, something that would really enhance my workflow would be that when in loop mode, and recording, everytime the loop ends and it starts over, that a different layer would be loaded, so that I can just record my ideas without stopping and then choose the one that I like the best.
I know that this is available in Reason 4, but instead of creating a different layer it opens up another track. That would not be really good for me since I already handle lots and lots of tracks keep up the good work guys! you have an amazing product and I recomend it everytime I can

I believe you can do what you want in S1 already. See pp. 59-61 of the manual for a better explanation than I can give here.

I found it! It was on point 5.5 of the manual! Thank you for pointing it out Talmen. I was doing everything right, I selected the parts I wanted to loop with timeline ruler, record enabled my track and highlight the loop button, but I did not right click on my track after I did several tracks

Anyways, it's there, and it was even easier than I thought.

I've said it b4, but I'll say it again. The fact that S1 is so easy and fun to use -- it is almost dangerous! I get into working with it so much that I keep forgetting to finish reading the manual. (Don't even know how many times I've started, restarted!) Of course, every time I do I find something I didn't know about, go to try it for myself out so I learn it well, and b4 you know it I'm all distracted from the manual again!

Yo're welcome ok, since we're already doing dumb questions I will take advantage of these to make another one!
Is there something like the elastic audio of pro tools in Studio One? :O If any one is familiar with the "warp" option of pro-tools, is there something like that in Studio one?

Currently no. I believe the ZPlane engine is used, but the only this that is currently available is timestretching.

No warping, Flextime or stuff like that. I'm sure it's on the agenda, but not currently available.
