I need help, while i'm running sound, my monitors are cutting in and out on my auxes. This has happened on the last 2 shows. When I run a regular analog board, I don't seem to have the same problem. I'm new to StudioLive and perhaps I have some sort of configuration going that's is making my monitors go in and out.... #clueless... Thanks for your time...

It's possible that your mixer is broken, but you could also be doing something that's causing the problem. Does this happen when you're doing something on the mixer, or does it happen when you're completely hands-off?
Does the entire feed to the monitor speakers drop out? Or is something dropping out of a mix?
Have you done any troubleshooting at all? Wiggled plugs in connectors? Checked power? Does anything happen to the main speakers when the monitors cut out?

This happens when i'm doing absolutely nothing to the board. The whole feed goes out and comes back in. I'm normally just sitting there listening until I see a artist signal that the monitors is off. Very embarrassing.
Make sure you aren't clipping the amp! The amp might be overheating and shutting down for a little while. If you are using more than one amp ignore this post as the amps wouldn't shut down and turn back on at the same time.
Have you moved a plug going between an aux output that works to the one that doesn't, so you can partition the problem to inside or outsid eof the mixer?

edit: Nvm saw it only happens on one aux - I would follow Mikes throughs on this one its eitehr going to be post board, cable amp etc so try swapping sends or a fauly SL board

I have a similar problem on aux 2. I've changed cables , amp. and tried monitor on another aux. Aux 2 somtimes cuts in and out, but mostly get a distortion problem. Sometimes it clears up but it happens quite often.
Do you have a set of headphones you could plug directly into the Aux out? you would only get one side but would eliminate everything else..

Do you have a copmuter attached to the SL ? Does it occaisionally go to sleep ? I had some strange stuff early on as a by product of that... Fixing the sleep mode to never did a world of good for me...
