Wow! Everything mew and shiny here... and empty...
anyway, I have a quic question to all of you Macbook Pro owners. I'm considering to buy the latest 15" model, but heard contrasting opinions about it due to the switch from TI to Agere in the Chipset... does anybody have positive/negative experiences to report with the Firebox?
I need a good gigging laptop and the MBP seems like a good choice, but I don't want to spend that huge amount of money to end up with lots of problems...

Did you get an answer to this? I am looking at the latest MBP 15 with an I5. Will this interface nicely with the SL24? I don't want to go through the PC hassle which is wmy am am willing to shell out the extra cash for the mac (my first).

I'd like to know if anyone is running an SL with the latest macbooks.

It will run under Mac OS. Make sure you plug in the power cord first (do not bus power), then plug in the firewire cord. You will need a Firewire 800 -> Firewire 6 pin adapter. I have a macbook pro 13 mid 2010 and it works great on the mac side . . . now on the windows side not so much. I'm running windows vista ultimate x64 with all updates installed. Anytime I connect the presonus while in windows the macbook freezes completely (no bluescreen even). I'm hoping presonus can come up with a fix for this.
