Native Instruments announces Komplete 7

NI has just announced Komplete 7. I know some of us here aren't really that keen on NI, but here's the link:

I just had K6 delivered yesterday! Lucky for me I did not install as yet because disc 3 was defective. I'll be using store credit for K7

Now I have to go shopping for an external hard drive.

K7 tbh has not really been so big a deal for me. K7 Elements probably is more interesting. I think the bundle in K7 is sweet but as a Kontakt 4 user and owner of several similar plugs found in K7....I just have no need for it really. K7 Elements is a very smart move on the part of NI though IMO

I was hoping to see Kontakt 5 in Komplete 7 but oh well not yet.

I just installed K6 as well! Oh well, I knew the risk of 50% off

K7 is easily worth the upgrade although I was hoping to see Battery 4 make its debut. Like that it has Acoustic Refractions in it but owning Morphestra and Omnisphere sort of negates my need for it.

I wish Alicia's Keys were included, from the posts I've read and the A/B's I've done just with the online MP3's, it seems like a great compromise between NI's Akoustic and EWQL Piano's.

Lastly I was really, really, hoping that Kore 3 would come out or at least full Kontakt integration with the Kore 3 "Kontroller"...I don't get why NI is dragging their feet on this. Great controller for Kore 2, but Kind of feels like a lost puppy right now (especially with only 32 bit driver support).

Same here. I thought some big new releases were on their way but I guess not this time.

Yep. Again in the same boat. K7 as a whole is a lovely bundle no question but I guess I have too much overlap to have any real need for it. Might consider K7 elements at some point though. Maybe.
