Carpenter wrote:When using instruments like Kontakt or Sampletank, where one can load several different sound modules or instruments into one instance of a larger, host plugin (like Kontakt or Kontakt Player), is there a way to send each separate sound/instrument within a Kontakt or Sampletank rack to a separate dedicated fader in the console for it.

Right now, whenever I use these instruments, I have to adjust all parameters from within the instrument plugin, as I only get one fader for Kontakt or Sampletank, but that effects the volume and pan of every instrument within the Kontakt or Sampletank rack.

Can what I want, be done?

Also. Is there a way to rearrange the order of faders in the console, without it moving your tracks around in the arrange window?

I have the same question.... I would like to only run ONE instance of Sampletank and record several different instrument parts. Where I found this "Quote" posted it was really never made clear. The answer to this question will weigh heavily on my future purchase (upgrade)

Thanks,

Have a look at http://forumsarchive.presonus.com/posts/list/6241.page#38956 to show the multiple outs of SampleTank (or similar) in the Studio One console.

You can then change the midi channels on the tracks to reflect Kore's Instruments, and as mentioned expanding + ticking the Kore outputs will allow you to use different outs.. Save your setup as a Kore Multioutput Template, that way you don't have to do it again.

I've figured out how to create and even make the different channels within SampleTank play to different mixer faders I just haven't quite figured out how to assign a different midi channel to a new blank instrument track and have ST play say channel 2, 3, etc.. to different instrument tracks so I can record new takes with new instruments sounds without actually having to assign another instance of ST. (the quote from bobbybland sounds promissing - I'll be attempting to figure this out tonight) IMO this shouldn't be this difficult.
