Clearly Presonus is paying people to scout forums and put favourable comments on websites about Studio One which are a load of absolute xxxxxx I have just downloaded the Professional version demo (thanks for wasting 100 megabytes of my costly internet data assholes), and either i am deaf stupid and blind, or I simply need to jump in a hole and bury my head - after half an hour i never had a single thing happening, not a sound to be heard anywhere, not a tweeting bird, nothing! Menu systems that don't appear to do anything relevant or practical or functional, stuff like clicking on VSTi menu tab and then clicking on something in that list and nothing happens, no apparent access to get anything happening whatsoever, there is no simplicity about this program at all, its a convaluted piece of xxxx and i am extremely disappointed . In fact the truth is that it's actually a load or pretentious junk, I'm sitting here completely dumbfounded about all the hype and utter xxxxxxx about this program, it's all lies and marketing you cunning little mongrels Presonus, other programs i can get working without even reading a manual, so why not Studio One (because it's not intuitive, thats why) but this thing called Studio One, what a load of hyped rubbish. Don't bother coming in here and telling me how easy it is just because you spent half your life working it out...if a program is not intuitive (contrary to the claims of Presonus) and does not work logically then either my iq needs an overhaul despite the fact i'm a university teacher, or you guys need to take a good hard look at yourselves and the awry interface in this piece of xxxx...save it fanboys, i'm not interested, i'm friggin outta here, and gone for good, don't bother coming in here and telling me otherwise, since what i've said is exactly what i mean and exactly what i wanted to say, Studio One is a load of junk, simple as that, not even close to being intuitive. At this point and time I would have better chances of becoming a full blown navy seal than getting anything useful from this rubbish...as you might have guessed, i am xxxxxx off with all the lies going around about this program, it's all xxxxxxx and i've got better things to do with my life than waste time trying to work this xxxx out, even Motu digital performer is much better than this +*^&^#@!%$&^

You just wasted another slab of your valuable time writing that somewhat lengthy piece.
I will say one thing in S1's defence relative to other progs ; you obviously never got to use the mastering page.....

Oh man, I can't wait for presonus to send me my pay check about being in this false forum and saying that this software is awesome just to fool the people around to buy it!
Hats down kind sir, you've uncovered the presonus conspiracy!

I wouldn't call studio one difficult. I tried the demo out and I was making tracks in no time. To me the Interface is similar to reason which is a good thing for me. All daws have learning curves though. It took me a while to figure out live it took a lot of reading to understand reapers workflow. Actually I only had to read very little to understand this one. Granted though studio one isn't perfect

Thanks - then we can get back spending time on "make-believe" music on a Daw that isn't able produce ANY sound at all.... Man maybe I've use had iTunes running all the time.
Totally worried now as I will be sending my oldest son to University next year... Will he learn ANYTHING ??
