I've had my 44 for about 2 months, and had absolutely no problems until recently.
I record almost exclusively in Ableton Live, and when I opened Live yesterday to work on a project, I wasn't getting any output sound. Ableton recognized my 44, and the meters were all bouncing normally, but I'm not getting any sound out of my speakers. I immediately started messing with my mixer set up and I'm 100% convinced its not my speakers / receivers fault. I tried switching USB ports, reinstalling drivers, restarting computer, and nothing seems to work. The strange part is that the input seems to work just fine. My microphone is getting power from the box, and I'm seeing levels bounce in Ableton. Even weirder, I can hear the sound from the microphone from my speakers when I turn up the mixer loud enough, just nothing from the actual program.
Its very strange. I also tried using Cakewalk to see if it was a problem in Ableton, and I got the same result (no output sound). I feel like I've tried everything short of a reformat, which I really don't want to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

"I got my sound back, seems like the ability to playback was hampered when I plugged the soundcard into a usb hub. Unplugging and plugging it back into the system itself alone did not solve the problem. But after relocating to another USB jack and uninstalling/reinstalling the vsl software/driver, it's now playing back again. "
Found this in another thread and it worked for me too. I'm back in action.

5 days later, same problem came back. Didn't mess with any of the USB ports. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the same way but its not fixing the problem.

Same problem here, yesterday night the Audiobox didn't work. I could see the audio coming from Ableton Live, then the Audiobox VSL software, but no sound from the output of the soundcard. I have dual boot, so I tried the Windows way and the same problem happened. no sound.

One thing to make sure of is that you use the same port each time. When the drivers for most audio interfaces are loaded they are matched to that port.

The problem is that this is a reoccurring problem for me, WITHOUT changing USB hubs AND on different computers! Ridiculous!
Considering asking for a refund because this singular problem is ruining my recording schedule. Each time I uninstall / reinstall everything and its totally up to chance if it fixes it or not.
I had the same dead audio after 5 mins.
So I installed the good old V1.1 and we are back in the familiar popcracker hell yet at least I can hear me lil' speakers again.
Did mixing all night and not one crash.
I'm so zucottiparking the new and improved driver until I hear otherwise from the currently unstable audioboxer beta testers (99% or 1%?).
