not to repost, but now that we have a general discussion for VSL, why not a wish list...???

I already own the 16.0.2. and traded in my 22VSL for the 44
nothing wrong with asking for improvements
I'm sure most are realistic improvements And doable
Oh sure. Didn't mean to come off wrong. It's always good to ask. I'm just going by what's been said in other threads by Presonus. Some looked at the USB line of interfaces as a step backwards while in reality, Presonus wanted to have a line of USB Interfaces available. They weren't meant to replace the Firestudio Line, just add the USB option.
There might be bigger, more pro level interfaces coming, who knows. I think they should concentrate on more controllers (maybe even a keyboard) but sadly, all we can do is guess.
So it will be interesting to see what's added to the AudioboxUSB VSL line. There been alot of requests for the iPad control option.

Maybe we won't see updates in the audio interface department next year. Big jump with a new line of mixers and audio interfaces.

Thanx man. Not a problem. And now that the locking up of BCF is solved, I can use it in Mackie Control mode now, which has a ton more features including Fader Flip (where the faders become pan controls and the pans become fader controls.
If you're gonna use Mackie Control Mode, just change the midi settings in Studio One to Legacy midi and setup all the devices again. It's much better than HUI mode and you can use that function sheet I made that shows all the button functions.

If they were not meant to replace the firestudio line why did they make my Firestudio Tube that was only a year old a legacy device? The driver didn't even work with Pro Tools (I was forced to use it to work with an affiliated studio and client)?
So I sold it and got an 1818. I have not been impressed. The driver needs some serious work for Windows. Hogs a lot of resources.
Thanks

Yeah, well I feel they were released just to fill the USB needs for laptop users that had no Firewire access. They surely are not better than the firestudio devices and I still think they were not meant to replace them.
I also had a FS Tube and loved it. But I cooked it and had to buy an 1818. I like it but not as much as I loved my FS Tube.

No I'm not a freaking pilot!! The Air Force won't let me have a suit with a zipper...or sometimes shoestrings.
My advice and suggestions should never be considered advice or suggestions. These are mostly insane ramblings of a poor aircraft mechanic who can, strangely enough, still hear.
