Hey Guys,

Might be a dumb question, but i seem to be having a problem on the new demo. Whenever I use the "split at cursor" keyboard shortcut, it works the first time on the track I have selected, but then all aother cuts end up on the BOTTOM track in my mix. Very odd behaviour. No matter which track i select to slice, only the first slice occurs on the track I want, then its on to the bottom track again. Is this odd behaviour? Should I redownload the demo or something?

Thanks

bumping this.

I dont for a second believe I'm the only one experiencing this. Can anyone try and replicate the problem for me in their copy (either demo or full) if only to confirm I'm not crazy?

Thanks

Split at Cursor does not make use of the selected track, but the selected events. There are two scenarios:
- if events are selected, it cuts only those events (if they are under the cursor)
- if no event is selected (or none of the selected is under the cursor), it cuts all events under the cursor

After the splitting, the last of the new events gets selected, and guess that's what you are seeing (but events on the other tracks have been split as well).

So to limit the split to one event / track, select that event before...
