I'll pass here as well. I just upgraded to 9 earlier this year, guess what? I've been using Studio One Pro 2 for the past 2 months not even thinking about it.
Cheers to Presonus!!!

I have a friend who is a diehard Pro Tools user. Matter of fact he just was telling me about PT 10. Man, talk about a money pit! Anyway, I'm working on him to switch over to Studio One 2 Pro!

Almost all of the features that they announced, Studio One already has. Studio One is on version 2. Pro Tools is on version 10. I think we can tell which DAW is superior.
Setup:

Studio One Pro 2.0.3

A friend of mine was thinking of getting Pro Tools as their first DAW. So I informed him that buying Pro Tools is like buying a car: First their is the initial price for the car; then there is the price for the tires; the price for the steering wheel; the price for power windows, power doors, the brake pedal, the gas pedal...you get the idea.
Anyways, I will be letting my friend in on all the joyous benefits of Studio One V2 in addition to the fact that it won't cost him $699 for Pro Tools cripple ware.
Cheers!

Unbelievable I just upgraded to PT9 about a year ago for $249 and now they want $299! And for what , it's not 64bit even! PT does not sound good it has a ton of options...ect but it does not sound good... they need to work on that and enough of the track count thing already.
