I don't know if you are still looking for beta testers but here is my information just in case.

Name: Patrick Reading
Technical/ Facilities Coordinator for Stringer Fine Arts Center, Hutchinson Community College

Email: readingp@hutchcc.edu

Phone (optional): 620-665-3341 (work)

PreSonus Gear Owned: (2) 16.4.2 Consoles with plans to purchase (1) 16.0.2 this coming July for recording booth

Computer Operating System(s): IMAC hooked to each console.

DAW(s) Used: Audacity for recording concerts, etc.

I am going to start using Capture to record meetings, recitals, etc. We do about 150 events a school year. Everything from theatre, jazz concerts, piano recitals, corporate meetings. Our facility has a 420 seat recital hall and black box that can do 250 for meetings, dinners, etc. I am currently using an ipad to tweak things during rehearsals and this next week I am going to test out Qmix with iphones.

Thanks for the consideration - Pat

I am interested in beta testing. I am a music educator at Peoria Academy as well as a weekend warrior with the Cadillac Jack Band. I use a sl16.4.2 and have a sonar studio with a firestudio interface at the school where the kids do several recording projects.

II feel as though I already am!

I have a long history of beta testing primarily with devs of VST plugins and have been a member of KVR VST for over a decade. I was part of the original dev team of ReValver ampsim. You'll find my name on the splashscreen and when it was purchased by Peavey I signed an NDA with them so am familiar with that process.

e-mail sent.

If you're looking for someone to put your gear through the local cover band live trenches, I can help with that. I've spent the last five years running sound for a very popular local cover band. Currently running about 150 shows a year in the Maryland, Virginia and southern Pennsylvania market then filling in with other bands through the same manager when available. I have been on the fence for a while now when it comes to digital. I currently run four in-ear mixes and FOH as well. My son runs our lighting and is my personal computer genius.

Let me know if we can be of any assistance.

Let's face it, all digital audio workstations are betaware.

Include a side-by-side tutorial (like that will ever happen) and I will evaluate your stuff from a musician/singer/songwriter point of view. In other words, I will tell you the truth and if it bruises egos tough [MOD Edit - Language].

Ok, lowee

Enough is enough already. We all get it. You made your point.

Change your tone and choice of words or you will be removed and blocked. Also, please refrain from using incorrect or overly glamorous titles to headline your rants. Luring people with false terms is not an acceptable practice either.

I give everyone one chance and this one is yours.

My advice and suggestions should never be considered advice or suggestions. These are mostly insane ramblings of a poor aircraft mechanic who can, strangely enough, still hear.
