Audiobox 1818VSL not showing up when I want to record a new song

In the audio setup I do not see a song setup. The main problem is when I go to choose an audio devis only the audio box usb is showing up. The old one. Not the 1818VSL.

The audiobox that is showing up IS the 1818VSL. The driver is universal for the Audiobox family. No matter what
Audiobox you plug in be it USB, 22VSL, 44VSL or 1818VSL it will show up in S1 as "Audiobox"

Thanks! Now this leads me to my next problem. When I attempt to record with it it lags and it goes crazy. Its tough to describe what happens exactly.

If you have not already done so please register your 1818VSL and open a tech support ticket.
That being said we cannot help you without a bit more info......if you will post your system specs
(see my sig), we will be better able to trouble shoot your problems. Without knowing what type
of pc you're running, what OS you're using etc....we can't recommend a "simple fix".
