Isnt it legal for a paying customer to ask for an update or at least if an update is close to be released ? why do you always intercept these threads with an attempt to neutralize the OP´s question ?

You have more than 6000 postings here on the Presonus forum meanwhile , thats awesome, i wish i had as much time as you do, but if you feel bored about to read the same "Subjects" over and over then you might wanna take a break from this forum instead of hijacking harmless requests by legal customers. Its nice that you have your fanbase here for posting more than 6000 messages, and that still doesnt make you a better customer and your money isnt worth more either.

If someone asks for an update never mind if hes an old or new customer, has a small or large Presonus Hardware list in his signature, which i personaly wouldnt post here, he should get a square deal, simple and easy.... and thats not your attitude towards these customers.....

Scenario: A couple guys that you don't know and will never actually even meet have a negative opinion of you. Someone makes a comment about your post count having no idea where or what a good bit of your posts are for and very many of them actually aren't even in the public forums.

But to be honest, I try to see what others see. It's important to me to understand what goes on around me and weather what I'm doing is being perceived correctly. Why? Well, I'm not sure why, actually.

Just an insatiable need to understand I guess.

I know your right man and I feel the same way, well, most of the time....lol. But like I said, it doesn't affect me directly. But like I said, it's my need to understand, that's all. Nothing more, nothing less. I don't cry about it, ponder on it or let it rule me, if that's what you think

Funny thing is, my first initial response, I was in the exact place of "Not Giving a Shit" but then the need to understand what they saw took over. I go to such great lengths not to sound like it's an ego trip (if it were I'd be charging money for it...lol) Not sure anyone get it at this point

A question as straight as "Is an update around the corner?" actually doesn't require any kind of discussion or anyone's 2 cents. As you can see it just gets misconceived

Of course people who dont know the answer to "Is it far off?" will chime in with opinions. Only PreSonus could actually know the answer to that question. He voiced an opinion that it may not be far off and others did similar.

But that's good advice anyway. Next time someone asks something like that let's all just leave it as a thread with a single post and no discussion ... since (obviously?) no user here could ever actually answer that kind of question (factually).

Ok then, point taken, as you are also another one of my growing number of critiques. Not a slam, just a fact. You have also voiced your issues with my responses in the past. My attempts at humor have also been misconstrued.

But just so you all know, my response to him, no matter how any of you took it, was simply to point out the availability of 2.0.4 and the possibility that he may have missed it.

But going forward, I would like to spare the general community of issues like this one and would ask that if you guys are truly coming at me in the defense of members here, contact me one-on-one and spare them from threads like this because I will continue to defend myself if I feel the need, but would prefer to do it with you DIRECTLY not in a public forum
