Going out on a limb here.....a say a controller is coming. The Muzic...you and I have both been calling for this for a while. I know you don't believe it will happen.....I can understand why. But, I have a feeling that the reason Presonus has been holding off controller support is because they will release their own...and I say SOON.

The PreSonus blog mentions a new feature being added to Studio One... so it looks like an update is on the way that's not just bug fixes. Other than that, I won't venture to speculate. Not much longer to wait now, though.

SAW already??? Thank God I wasn't invited!!!
HP G42 | AMD Athlon II P340 | 2Gb RAM | HD 320 Gb | Windows 7 Home Basic x64
Presonus Studio One Artist 2.0.4 x86 | MAGIX Samplitude Silver Soundcloud Edition
Line 6 POD XT Live
How can anyone call something so divisive a community?
I am thinking it will be a feature update of some sort that did not made it in the initial v2 release.
But more than anything I want a stability update, get v2 as stable as v1 was, I was toying with v1 a few days ago and maaan you just can not crash that thing, it will hang for a while maybe sometimes when there is a problem but it always comes back to life

Also... I hear their StudioLive mixers dont exactly control S1? Is this correct?
They don't control Studio One at all! With Studio One, the Studio Live is strictly a giant sound card.
Really? I thought that two would be closely integrated..
They are closely integrated, but as a DAW and audio interface. The StudioLive is not a control surface (yet, who knows). It's a mixer. I think there's a huge potential for a decent controller. At the moment the only thing that seems remotely interesting is the Avid Artist series, or maybe the new Steiny modular series.

i was thinking 1 of 2 things... either a smaller .1 update with all the leftover things that didnt quite make it for the 2.0 launch, or they might do what they did last year and hold off for a Musikmesse release... fuck maybe theyll give us both

I have looked into my crystal ball and can say the following with great confidence...
No hardware will be announced at NAMM
3 software announcements will be made
including MAJOR updates for the StudioLive series including the 16.0.2
How can I be so confident, you say? Because Rick divulge as much in another thread. You guys have to get out more.
