This was my #1 request for v2, the ability to apply effects on individual events through out the track, however i cant find any documentation on it in the manual, and right-clicking doesnt provide any results. Any one figure out how to do it?
And don't forget that you can freeze those effects, move things around and do further editing, and then UNFREEZE them with all changes in place. Very slick!

thanks! not too crazy about the implementation, hopefully it will improve in the future. I was thinking more of a cubase-esque, right-click, apply effect, done. much more simple and natrual

But not reversable. S1 has a permanent undo function on event based FX.

yes, i meant more of a "shortcut" for apply effects quickly, like an easy extension of the options in the Inspector. Quickly apply effects using right click, but in-depth editing through Inspector

As nice this feature is there is still the fact that you CANT automate parameters on the event FX....
So if you want to add a HP filter on one event and automate the cutoff you just cant...
Can someone from Presonus confirm this as a bug/missing feature....

Well I guess thats your opinion, but for me an event is audio/midi event no matter how long or short.
Now lets just say that I want to add HP filter on one part (4 bars) of a track which already have 5 inserts:
Event fx approach (what I want): quickly add the filter to the part/event and then automate the filter cutoff just for this part - DONE!
NON event fx approach (what you say): Duplicate the track with all 5 inserts, then add the filter, then automate the filter - the result is one extra track, 5 extra loaded plugins and time wasted...
Yes you can bounce the track which prevents the 5 extra loaded plugins, but again it adds extra track and if you make a change to the part you are automating you have to bounce it again...
I dont know why you fail to see the benefit of automating the event fx....
For example in some electronic genres like psy trance, drum n bass and others adding event fx on short parts and automating them is used and needed very frequently.

if you have 5 inserts, that's fine. just add the HP filter as the 6th insert and automate it...draw in your automation points with the the PAINT TOOL for 4 bars - DONE.

This is exactly how I do this now.
The problem with this is that right now I have to add 2 automation lines in order to achieve this.
The first one is to bypass the filter when I dont need it.
The second one is for the cutoff automation.
If automation for the event fx was possible then I should have to add just one automation line for the cutoff.
The point I'm making here is "why make 2,3 or 4 things, while you can make only 1" and I guess this is the philosophy on which studio one workflow is based - "why make things complicated, when you can make them simple".
The event fx feature is already present. Why not let us automate the parameters of the event based inserts?
