Pro -> Producer

Apparantly there is a new flacour of s1, Producer which is basically Pro w/o the mastering suite... since there isnt a Producer version of S1, will those with Pro be able to "downgrade" to Producer? while most will see this as ridiculous, im sure some people would like the option. also, with all the leaks, why dont you just show the loyal forum some love Presonus????

That's all speculation at the moment. At this point we don't know how the Producer pack will differ from the Professional pack.

Actually, I also have my eye on Producer more than on Professional. I haven't jumped on the sale yet, precisely b/c I don't know how the upgrade path from Artist v1 will be compared to downgrading from Pro v1.

That logic may sound silly to some, but I don't consider myself a mastering engineer.

being able to burn cd's right from the daw is great, before getting pro I've been using Wave Burner to master but Studio One handles these tasks so much better

Wasn't that just a trial for Melodyne and not the integration feature itself?
