Version 2

I was at Gutair Center today and they are selling S1P V2 in 2 flavors. But they have no upgrade packages.

How are some of these places getting this stuff early?

Made a picture from the package?
I'm in doubt about it.

Poster makes it sound like they have it already, but he could have meant he inquired about it with them and they said they will only carry two versions of it instead of three. No way it makes sense that they have it already!

It's always possible that the boxes have arrived(I don't know, I'm only guessing) and Guitar Center put them out earlier than they were supposed to. It happens all the time.

Also, about not having three versions, it's possible that maybe Artist won't be available in stores, or whatever.

Again, all just guesses on my part.

As for releasing them early, that has nothing to do with Presonus as they likely ship the boxes and give a date to put them on the floor. Guitar Center and other stores will frequently conveniently "forget" that date and put the stuff on the shelves early.

If it's the thing about having the Artist version not on shelves, I don't know. I guess it depends on what they want to do with them. Artist may be a download-only option to save on making boxes for it.

I could be completely wrong. I honestly have no idea and was just trying to guess at reasons.

Ok, so some GC stores have boxes landing, and it seems a few jumped the gun. Sales have NOT started.

Is it so? or did the topicstarter just see a poster hanging, presenting two products?

It's unfortunate that they do this, and it's definitely nothing new at all. Hopefully there is a way to get everything pulled, though I don't know how easy it will be.

I did not wish to stir up a hornets nest here. I stand by my statement in my post. I would have bought it if they had the upgrade version.
Just release it and stop all the mystery already. I mean there are leaked videos and now product on store shelves. I actually touched one, That makes me a Beta Toucher.
