just saw this on musicradar and came on here to check if we got our "fall announcement" yet... good to know the date, but presonus should really let the info out already
That's really exciting if that date is accurate. I got a little jealous of the excitement over at Sonar about X1 Expanded coming out soon, so I'm ready to create some buzz over here.

That's kind of a slick idea what they're doing there with the Pro Channel modules but I'm not so sure I'd ever be inclined to buy plug-ins that (I assume) will only work in one host. Cool idea though and (apparently) a good way to kinda lock users into the application.
I mean, if later down the road when the full line of modules are available, you spend a few hundred bucks on Pro Channel add-ons you'll probably be much less likely to leave Sonar and that investment very easily.
Smart business move I guess ... *if* the Pro Channel plugs take off with the user base.
I have my doubts about the accuracy of that article also. Guess will find out soon.

Dunno. It depends on how you interpret "released" I guess. I kinda take it to mean "official"... information maybe going officially public then which may not actually mean we can buy it and have it right then... dunno. Maybe "released" there means the cat crawls out of the bag on that date, a Monday.
Anyway, it seems kinda random to just pick a date out of thin air so they must have gotten that date from somebody or I suspect Jon would probably be firing off a "cease and desist" email to Mr. Rogerson there.

It certainly seems to imply that will be the release date of the product itself.

I would wait for the official statement from Presonus on the timeframe for release. I have a feeling that we'll be letting you guys know something relatively soon!

Logic prevails as usual. It must be the hashish.

I just "seconded" your subtle suggestion above that if we are going to guess at it (and we will, we're all anxious ), we should probably include other relevant data like the 1/2 off sale ending on October 31 as part of that process.
It's still a guess though in either case.

Yeah, I did add the little mr green smiley, just to make sure I'm not going to get burned by all those anxious people that can't take a joke.
