tnx
There's a thread buried deep somewhere around here where Jon suggests it will be "competitive". To me (obviously guessing ) that seems to imply it will be around $150 max, maybe less.

Yes, and that is the very issue - Uncertainty!
If I upgrade to pro now and pay $99 and then need to fork out another $150 for v2 for v1-->v2. How about upgrade from v1 artist to v2 pro? Is this current deal included in any grace period for the update to v2?....... So many questions about the buy/upgrade matrix.
With other daws there is usually a track record of how a company handles stuff like this, but Presonus is still a virgin in this area.
I assume that many like me are already using another daw and don't mind waiting an extra month or so to see what the deal is going to be - Better safe than sorry so to speak.
Behringer x32 with Dante, x32-rack, s16 stagebox, p16 monitor system, StudioLive 24, FirePod 10, Alesis HD24, M-Audio FastTrack Pro, Studio One Pro v2, NI Komplete 5-8 Ultimate, Cubase 4, Ableton Live 8 Suite, Reaper 4, misc Line6 gear/software, True Temperament Frets on basses and guitars, Korg Kronos, Roland vk-7, Yamaha 02r.....
