Was wondering if I could record 7 inputs of drums.

I would have 2 condenser mics for overheads to plug in to the front for phantom power then have the other 5 run through XLR to TRS converters plugged into the back of the FireStudio Mobile. Would this work?

Thanks

Not this way - your TRS-inputs work on line-level.

Your dynamic microphones will not bring enough level for that, so in between your microphones and your FS-Mobiles TRS-inputs you will need microphone-preamps additionally. You can take a small mixing desk as well, if you can route its inputs to separate outputs (e.g. if it has insert-outs or enough group or aux-outputs).
