KVR is the official forum of bitwig! I'm not exactly sure that is such a good idea, but there it is.

YEAH! Lots of comments, pages and many discussions for JUST THIS. Only thing I can say is that Ableton is dead, now let's talk about Studio One again...

Some many one liners, so little time.

Are we at P.10 yet?

The whole store could. I hope not. They were just excited about it, understandably.

It does look nice for that kind of music, but honestly, there wasn't anything I saw that you couldn't do in Studio One. Strictly going off what he showed in the video. I'm sure there are some differences deeper down.

When he added the one synth, there is crackling. Don't know if it was what he used to capture the video or what.

I turned it off after 5 seconds. I've seen enough of these youtube viddys to usually know straight off if it's going to be worth wasting time on. Unless he says a bunch of funny "omgdidhejustsaythat" stuff. Then I might be coaxed into watching it.

I turned it off at 0:03, then felt bad, then watched the whole thing.

I didn't see anything that isn't in S1. There's got to be more to this than marketing hype, right?

I don't think so. I does have some things that would be nice (I'd love to be able to pan midi notes or have curves for automation) but not much.

However, for us live users, the PDC upgrades could be a really big deal. Time will tell.

According to Steinberg's website, the ability to control individual midi note parameters is a function of the VST3 format. I can only assume we'll be seeing this in S1 soon. But it's hard to say. I've been told that all of the functions of the VST3 format are already there in the VST2 format, so I don't know who or what to believe.
