How to get your System Information File

Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Information

Click File, Save the NFO file as your name.

This file must have the .nfo extension to be useful. Once saved it can be sent to
a Tech Support Agent or other Troubleshooter.

Legacy Driver Fix for Windows 7 (32 and 64 Bit)

on your Windows 7 computer:

Then click "IEEE1394 bus host controllers."
Then, Right-click on the firewire card you are using
Then left-click "properties" >> driver tab >> update driver >> browse my computer >> select from list >> select legacy >> Next."

Restart your computer and re-test your system with the Firewire Device.

OHCI Tool

This program scans your computer in order to determine whether or not the firewire card on the computer is compatible with our interfaces.

Run the .exe file, then open the program. Check all three options to the right of the "scan now" button. Click "Scan now."
