I get back home on the 18th,that would be such an awesome gift to get the official news by then.

Yes, there will be a digital download option for all versions of Studio One 2, including the upgrades from version 1.

What part from that sentence did you not understand?

And lot of guys asked you to unlock your caps lock! Its not easy to read and its against normal internet rules.

Back off a bit man. He's excited ok? A feature list was already leaked and he said he would refrain from posting screen shots, so he gets it.

Let's not punish this guy because Guitar Center is a group of screw-ups.

Well, I totally agree with Ari, to be honest.

Maybe not. Come on, guys, it's only a few more days - and the official PreSonus presentations are sooo much cooler than any stupid premature spoilers!

Here is what we have waiting for us:

-MELODYNE
-TRANSIENT DETECTION AND EDITING
-MULTITRACK COMPING (!!)
-FOLDER TRACKS
-AMPIRE XT AMP MODELING (!!)
-BROWSER SEARCH
-MULTITRACK MIDI EDITING
-OPENAIR CONVOLUTION REVERB
-PRESENCE SFZ SUPPORT
-DDP EXPORT, TRACK SPLIT, PROJECT PQ EDITING

I have pics of the front and back of the box. I actually have not purchased, as there is no upgrade path....only full version. If enough people were interested, I would buy it, and put up a link for donations to help me make money back. I could then take requests for reviews of specific areas and put vids on youtube. I dont mind putting in the work...I just cant afford to buy the whole thing when I can upgrade in a couple of weeks. Or we can all wait 3 weeks until it is released!

I dont think it is fair to beat people up for being excited over getting their hands on something they love. We are only trying to give the loyal fans a taste of things to come. I left Sonar because of the support I saw on these forums...from both users and the company.

I agree man, When I saw those new boxes at GC and fondled them I was like so happy and just asked do you have only the update and they said no I was so down. I think Presonus should give forum members and owners of SP1 the chance to upgrade tonight.

I think it is kinda cool the way things went down, It shows presonus how big they getting and the impact they have on the DAW world.

Sometimes the best gifts are a total surprise.

Just put a link up for the upgrade and you will probaly have a ton of d/l's

-BROWSER SEARCH

I hope they improved the ability to search for FX and VSTi's, REaper handles this in a much quicker way, you want Superior Drummer, simply type su in the search and any VSTs that start Su pop up. Really cuts down on mousing up and down

The ability to costumize the FX folders would be even better.

I hope people realize that Presonus probably have a specific plan for how they want to unveil the new version, and I would hate to see their hard work foiled by people who were lucky enough to get the box early.

Don't get me wrong, I understand excitement. But I do know that Presonus would probably appreciate some silence until they are ready, especially since anyone using new software for only a short time is likely to miss something important. And if somebody comes along, reads their "list", and gets turned away because they didn't see enough to upgrade, it would be a shame. I would HATE for people to not get full and accurate information and decide prematurely.

Absolutely! Already there are posts here that are likely incorrect on multiple accounts. Statements like "no upgrade path" are ridiculous as Presonus has already mentioned multiple times that there will be upgrade paths for those who have purchased S1 v1. This is why people who get the product early shouldn't make posts like the above, it's incorrect, and it spreads poor information on a forum that is full of people who don't ONLY post here. Releasing information like that has the potential to get beyond the boundaries of this forum, which can damage Presonus in the long run. Trying to be loyal to the fans by leaking information about an unreleased product is a surefire way to cause the company problems, which is bad for the user base. Logic people...use it.
